Mark E. Urbane is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

• Graduated on the Dean's List from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelors of Science
• Doctor of Dental Surgery from Marquette University and inducted into the Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society
• Continues advanced studies through the Seattle Study Club, the High Desert Dental Colloquim, the Pankey Institute, and the Seattle Institute for Advanced dental Education
